Anyone familiar with Detox Diets?

Two weeks ago, I met this woman for the first time for coffee. She was 31, but she was quite attractive and looked a few years younger than she really was. Her body size was very normal and healthy- neither fat nor thin.

Last night, she and I met up for dinner, and to be honest, I wasn’t sure for a few minutes whether I was seeing the same person I met two weeks earlier. Her face had become so long and thin, and she looked several years older than she really was.

During dinner, she told me that she was doing a “detox diet.” She told me that the primary purpose of the diet is not to lose weight (although a person will lose a few pounds anyway), but to cleanse the body. She said that she had been on this diet for about a week.

Could anyone tell me more about these detox diets? What are the benefits, and what are the drawbacks?

Well detox diets are usually for short term and aren’t meant for diets. They are usually liquid diets and aren’t that healthy to do for more than a week. The body needs nutrients daily and if your just drinking tea and water..your body goes into starvation mode and starts to hold onto nutrients. I wouldn’t recommend it. She didn’t look good because she wasn’t getting all she needed to keep the body going. Always consult a doctor before any change in your diet plans.

Has any one ever tried the new 48 hour rapid detox?

If so, did it work and were you happy with the results?

Please no weight lose tips i just want to know this question thanx :)
I guess, its a $10 trial. And if you realy do lose a dress size in two days why would you pay for more then the trial? Thery wouldn’t be making much money. They said if it works and i want more it will cost a further $150 lol

Please don’t put Chinese shoe adds on my question.

No not everything we see an hear about these products we see being advertised on tv or in magazines are worth wasting our money.
